Hotel Lacona is surrounded by a big luxuriant park: its green grass spread until the pinewood leading to the sea. In the hotel park are located the pool, the tennis courts, the children playground and the parking. It offers an intense green thanks to its grass and pinewood, the coloured oleanders and the red geraniums which stands out against the white travertine of the swimming pool.
Imposing pine trees shade wide areas of the park and give refreshing moments during the hottest months of the year. Thanks to its closeness to the National Park of Tuscan Archipelago, in the park of Hotel Lacona it can happen to see hares and pheasants, and in spring grow beautiful fuchsia wild orchids.
Just few steps from the hotel it’s possible to admire the typical Tuscan countryside with its vineyards and olive groves and the marvellous colours of the Mediterranean scrub on the hills behind the hotel.
After a short walk in the pinewood, just opposite the hotel, there is the sea and one of the largest beaches of the Island.
