Just a stone’s throw from the National Park of Tuscan Archipelago, the park of Hotel Lacona is located between the beautiful beach of Golfo Grande di Lacona and its intense green hills. The Gulf of Lacona, the dunes – where it’s still possible to admire rare wild orchids – and the large white beach form a wide horsehoe. Looking from the sea towards the hills of Monte Orello and Colle Reciso, you can always enjoy the typical colours of the Mediterranean flora, here particularly favoured by the climate.

Hotel Lacona, situated in the south of Island of Elba, is surrounded by a marvellous park of pine woods and by the intense green of its wide grass, which reaches the long big beach of Gulf of Lacona, only a hundred meters far from the hotel.

Rooms and suites of Hotel Lacona are sober but comfortable and nicely furnished, recently renovated.
The hall and the TV lounge are decorated with comfortable wicker furniture.
The spacious restaurant can comfortably accommodate all the hotel guests. It’s painted in white and shows an original lighting and tasteful rattan white panels. A renowned chef prepares the high quality buffet, which is rich and different every night. A wide wine selection welcomes the guest as he enters the dining room.

In Lacona it’s possible to play many different sports. The hotel offers two tennis courts, a swimming pool with whirlpool area and a pool for children; mountain bikes are available for short excursions near the hotel. The private beach Bagni Lacona offers many possibilities to practise water sports. The diving centre Blue Immersion, which is situated on the near beach of Margidore, offers to our guests beautiful immersions, even at night, and snorkelling at special rates.

The Island of Elba and especially Hotel Lacona are the perfect destination for a family holiday.
The hotel pays particular attention to the children, thanks to an animation program which is especially dedicated to them, but also thanks to the playground located in the middle of the hotel park and thanks to the nice beach in front of the hotel, which offers special rates to our guests. In June, July and August a “soft animation” program with entertainment and sport activities is offered to the hotel guests.
The Mini Club is dedicated to children between 4 and 12 years old; in June, July and August the program provides morning games on the beach, afternoon games in the park, and evening baby dance.
Meetings – Congress – Conventions – Events
Hotel Lacona has a meeting room which can accommodate up to 80 people. The other room has an important oval table and is suitable for corporate meetings, boards of directors, managers meeting for about 30 participants. Both solutions are for small company events or associations meetings.
The hotel has 120 rooms, therefore can accommodate the organizers and the participants. Although the hotel is situated near the beach and just few steps from the sea, the needed privacy and calm are always assured for the success of an event or meeting. The hotel staff will assist you during the organization of the event, arranging all the services needed.
The rooms, the swimming pool and the beautiful park give to the participants also the opportunity to enjoy nice moments of relax.
Residence Lacona
For the people who prefer a holiday in freedom, Residence Lacona on Elba Island offers the possibility to stay in apartments located in three buildings in the middle of the hotel park. There are different kind of apartments, they can accommodate from two to six people: one-roomed apartment, two-roomed apartments and three-roomed apartments. All two- and three-roomed apartments have two bathrooms and almost all of them have a balcony. The residence guests can use all the hotel facilities: swimming pool, tennis courts, mountain bikes, restaurant, animation and free parking.
